straight from the heart...
*sigh. 2 weeks have gone by after Pinoy Dream Academy has come to an end, but i can't still seem to forget the joy and felicity that this show had caused me. for almost 4 months of getting hooked to this show, i couldn't help myself but cry, laugh, and enjoy every minute that passed by the lives of the scholars who were lucky enough to get chosen to live inside the academy. but ofcourse, within those four months, there was this one and only scholar who got my full support because this person showed me more than what i was expecting. it was Irish. ever since the start, i already knew she would come a very long way when the time comes. even if she was fully raised in America, she wasn't the type of girl who was being so sassy for having to live in a different place besides the place where she grew up in. based on what i saw and what i witnessed, she was a very easy to get along with "kind of person", that's why i never wondered why almost all the scholars were close to her. last night, as i was chatting with Mara, our conversation suddenly turned into Irish. it was such a golden feeling that there are actually some people who understand a real story behind a person's life. however, there may be people who don't understand Irish, but in God's eyes, he knows who the real and the bad people are. every single person has a right to be happy, especially those people who never thought of anything but make others smile.
3 more days left and this year will officially end. have you ever asked yourself what kind of person you have been this year? did anything about you change? or maybe, you did change but it seemed nothing? you know what? i just noticed something. it's that every time New Year comes, and every time the year is almost over, we always make ourselves rely on changes. we always make ourselves believe that we will change for the better, and for the sake of everyone, but have you asked yourself if it ever happened? i truly believe in the saying that "it's better said than done". the problem about us is, our pride is overly high. we quite believe that we can easily change but we can't even start it. so hopefully, before this year ends, people will realize that it is not hard to change, if and only if, it is from the heart and from a good state of mind.
May all of you have a Prosperous New Year ahead of you!
